Cardigan & Waist Coat From Rugby Ralph Lauren | Dress Shirt, Tie & Mallard Chinos From Ralph Lauren
have a soft spot for cardigans, especially ones with gothic lettering like this piece from the now-defunct Rugby brand by Ralph Lauren. To balance the business-forward aesthetic of the waistcoat and tie, I chose mallard chinos for a playful, preppy touch that's my signature style. Despite being more suited for summer, I opted for a linen tie to add an interesting contrast to the wool of the waistcoat and the cotton of the cardigan. Not only does the pattern mixing work well here, but the color of the tie also gives the outfit a much-needed pop.
